The mission for the Evangelism Ministry is seeking to save the lost souls around the world. The Department of Evangelism serves as the agency for organizing, training, accountability, unifying, fellowship, equipping and resourcing evangelists in the area of evangelism and serves as the networking source for greater strategic impact.

SUNDAY SCHOOL

 

The purpose/mission of the Sunday School Department is to reach people, teach the Word of God (Bible) and help believers have a personal relationship with God by prayerfully applying Bible truths in their everyday lives. The Sunday School is organized into three major divisions – children, youth, and adult. The classes are organized by age

 

WOMENS DEPARTMENT

 

Our Women’s Department is designed specifically for the purpose of reaching, teaching, and unifying women to become Women of Wisdom as depicted in Proverbs chapter 31.  Our goal is to equip, empower, and encourage, women to live Godly lives in full expectation of the blessings of God.  Further, our goal is to help women become better wives, better mothers and better role models as Godly women.  Our newest ministry we have implemented is the D.O.V.E (Daughters of Valor Empowered) Ministry.        

 

MENS DEPARTMENT

 

The Men’s Department is to assist men in assuming their rightful role and become spiritual and social catalysts in their families, the church, and the community. Men’s Ministry is dedicated to establishing men as committed believers, husbands, fathers and leaders. Our goal is to empower men from a holistic perspective. This includes providing resources that will develop men in the areas of relationships, finances, and life management as a whole. 

 

YOUTH DEPARTMENT

 

The Youth Department is a vibrant training auxiliary that exists to equip our youth with the necessary training to live a prosperous and victorious life in Jesus Christ. This charismatic department will design, develop, and implement programs and ministry opportunities that meet the spiritual needs of the youth of our church. Rallies, workshops, and pertinent seminars will be tools used to effectively teach our youth how to apply the Word of God in their lives

MUSIC DEPT

 

The primary purpose of the music ministry is to give glory, honor, and praise to God. Scripture says in Colossians 3:17, “Whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father.” Members involved in this ministry are given many avenues to serve the Lord Jesus Christ and His body, the church. We're blessed to have Mass Choir, Youth Choir, Praise Team, & Male Chorus.

 

USHER MINISTRY

 

The mission of the Usher Ministry is to accommodate every congregants who enters the church with a seat in the most pleasant and efficient manner possible. We provide a comfortable, God-fearing and loving orderly atmosphere for the congregants to come and worship. The Usher Ministry is to serve every person that enters New First Church with a one to one experience and exchange of love that radiates people from just sitting in the pew to becoming disciples of Jesus Christ through the service provided by the Usher’s Ministry.

 

PASTOR'S AIDE MINISTRY

 

The Pastor's Aide Ministry anticipates the needs of the pastoral/ministerial staff (and guest ministers) and provides the necessary assistance to enable the Holy Spirit to flow with ease through the speaker.

 

PUBLIC RELATIONS

 

The Public Relations passionately seeks to have everyone receive the full benefit of the community activities, services and N1C information. They create public awareness of N1C programs through key media platforms - print, social media, internet.

 

Hospitality Ministry

 

The Hospitality Ministry’s mission is to create a positive and refreshing experience to any individual that attends or visits N1C. Our goal is to bring friends and family together to create and sustain bonds that will enable N1C members to build stronger relationships in accordance with the N1C vision.
